Helping improve the quality of life in the communities where we live and work is a fundamental value for ConocoPhillips and our employees. We do that by funding worthy causes, by lending a helping hand where it’s needed most, and by working diligently to build inclusive, authentic and respectful relationships with our stakeholders.
ConocoPhillips Lower 48 is proud to be an active and valued member of the communities in which we operate.
Our investment in the community is driven by relationships, whether with our employees or the communities in which we live and work.
To build these relationships , we work with charitable organizations to identify community needs and deliver strategic programs that meet these needs and support our business outcomes.
ConocoPhillips invests in community programs through charitable contributions, community engagement, sponsorships, and community infrastructure. We also invest in community programs through commitments to address environmental and social impacts.
The primary areas for charitable contributions are Signature Programs, Local Contributions and Employee Giving. These are referred to as our Community Investment Pillars. Within our pillars we are active in education, health & safety, natural resources/environment, social services, civic & arts as well as disaster relief. Learn more about our contributions by visiting our Community Investment Priorities page.
We prioritize programs which align with our community investment pillars and meet the following criteria:
- Provide sustainable community development,
- Engage our stakeholders,
- Align with our core SPIRIT Values,
- Support our business objectives, and
- Connect our employees to the communities in which they live and work.
