ConocoPhillips’ engagement and investment activities within the community is based on three Giving Pillars:
- Signature Programs: A Signature Program is a coordinated, integrated Charitable Investment cause that provides focus and provides a substantive impact on a social issues surrounding water and biodiversity stewardship and additionally education.
- Local Contributions & Sponsorships: ConocoPhillips’ desire is to be a good corporate citizen, and neighbor. Our ability to meet these business objectives, are strongly supported by our relationships with organizations that have a proven track record of meeting vital community needs in the communities where we operate. These relationships are strengthened through local grants to support our Signature Programs and address the unique needs of each community. Local donations are organized within the following Giving Categories: education, health and safety, natural resources, arts, civic, social services and disaster relief.
- Employee Giving Programs: ConocoPhillips recognizes that its employees and retirees are often the company's best liaison with the communities in which we operate. Therefore, we encourage and support their involvement in local charitable activities through a number of Employee and Retiree Giving Programs including the United Way, Matching Gift, Volunteer Grants and Dependent Scholarships.
